In order for robots to learn from data and make predictions or judgements based on that data, artificial intelligence (AI) entails the use of algorithms and statistical models.

Machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, and cognitive computing are just a few of the diverse subfields of AI. To create intelligent devices and systems that can carry out tasks in various domains, these subfields employ various methodologies and methods.

As processing power and data storage have improved, more complex algorithms and models have been developed, making AI an increasingly essential area of research and development. AI offers a wide range of possible uses, including in manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and other industries.


In many aspects, AI has the capacity to revolutionise the world. Here are a few instances of how AI might alter the world:

  • Industry transformation: AI has the potential to significantly alter numerous sectors, including healthcare, transportation, finance, and manufacturing. AI-driven solutions could speed up financial decision-making, automate financial decision-making, increase transportation efficiency and safety, and improve industrial procedures.
  • New work opportunities: AI has the potential to open up new career paths in the disciplines of data science, machine learning engineering, and AI development, even though it may automate some occupations.
  • Decision-making: AI has the potential to improve decision-making by analysing large volumes of data and offering insights that humans would not have been able to perceive.
